Vantage Logistics Completes Urgent LCL Shipment Within a Massive Supply Chain of Over 5,000 TONS of Breakbulk and 1,400 TEUs
10/08/2026
Vantage Logistics has just completed the delivery of a Less than Container Load (LCL) shipment from Ho Chi Minh City to a construction site in Vung Tau. This shipment is part of a massive transportation chain comprising over 5,000 tons of breakbulk and 1,400 TEUs for a key industrial project in Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Viet Nam.
This particular LCL shipment contained essential components and auxiliary materials, demanding meticulous handling in extraction, customs clearance, and urgent delivery to meet the project’s strict schedule.

Processing LCL Cargo Based on Priority
Unlike Full Container Load (FCL) shipments or Out-of-Gauge (OOG) cargo, LCL cargo is consolidated in the same container with goods from various other consignees. Upon arrival at the HCMC port, the process of transferring the cargo to a Container Freight Station (CFS) for un-stuffing and segregation requires close monitoring.
To ensure the cargo was safely un-stuffed and not delayed at the facility beyond the estimated time, the Vantage Logistics team synchronized the following operations:
- Surveying and closely monitoring the CFS: Vantage Logistics supervised the container un-stuffing process at the warehouse, ensuring the absolute safety of every small package.
- Expedited customs clearance backed by solid expertise: Extensive experience in handling project cargo procedures and a deep understanding of local customs regulations enabled the Vantage team to provide timely and accurate consultancy. With documentation fully prepared and compliant, the shipment overcame administrative hurdles to be released immediately upon port arrival.
- Precision in sorting: Vantage Logistics sets itself apart through its ability to delve into operational details. The on-site team meticulously sorted the items, selected the exact components required by the engineers, and delivered them precisely to each specific construction zone.
- Close coordination with the client: All processes were seamlessly coordinated to secure the urgent schedule, ensuring construction was never interrupted due to a lack of materials.
The successful completion of this LCL shipment demonstrates Vantage Logistics’ capability in mega industrial projects. From components weighing thousands of tons and urgent air freight shipments to the detailed management of every single LCL cargo, Vantage Logistics consistently partners with contractors to deliver the most optimal solutions for clients.
