VANTAGE COMPLETES TRANSPORTATION OF 160 TONS OF STEEL STRUCTURES FOR NEWAY VALVE VIETNAM FACTORY CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

Vantage Logistics has successfully completed the first shipment for the Neway Valve Vietnam Co., Ltd. factory construction project, transporting 160 tons of steel structures from Shanghai Port, China to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. With a total cargo value of more than USD 150,000, the shipment required close coordination throughout the ocean transportation, import customs clearance, port handling, and final delivery processes. The schedule also had to be maintained during the Reunification Day and International Labor Day holidays. A Suitable Transportation Solution for Factory Construction Cargo The shipment consisted of steel structures for factory construction, including steel columns, steel frames, beams, and tie rods. The characteristics of the cargo required the transportation plan to consider handling, securing, and final delivery requirements from the outset. For this shipment, Vantage arranged breakbulk ocean transportation from Shanghai Port to Ho Chi Minh City Port, followed by import customs clearance, port handling, and final delivery to Dat Do Industrial Park. Based on the cargo characteristics and the customer’s schedule requirements, Vantage proposed a suitable transportation solution while optimizing costs by focusing on the necessary handling processes and avoiding unnecessary steps. Maintaining the Schedule During the Holiday Period Maintaining the schedule was one of the key requirements of the shipment, as the transportation took place during the holiday period.
