Effective September 9, 2026: Nationwide Automated Customs Supervision Confirmation for EPE Declarations

As of September 9, 2026, the Customs Authority officially activated the automated customs supervision confirmation function nationwide under Official Letter No. 20991/CHQ-GSQL. This update eliminates the need for manual cross-checking for declarations between Export Processing Enterprises (EPEs) and domestic companies, other EPEs, or their branches.

To ensure successful automated matching, enterprises must accurately declare the “Enterprise Internal Management Number” field following the Customs Authority’s guidelines:

• Standard EPE transactions:
  • Export declaration: #&XKPTQ
  • Corresponding import declaration: #&NKPTQ#& + first 11 characters of the export declaration number
• Designated delivery transactions:
  • Export declaration: #&XKTC
  • Corresponding import declaration: #&NKTC#& + first 11 characters of the export declaration number

Important: Missing the #& separator or entering an incorrect declaration number will prevent automatic approval, resulting in manual processing. Enterprises should promptly align documentation workflows and review customs procedures to ensure seamless clearance.
